Our mission is to provide affordable rental housing in the Powell River region.
Life Cycle Housing is a long-established society that has been providing and promoting affordable housing in the Powell River region for decades. Created in 1994 in response to the growing awareness of the critical need for social housing, the Society has a two-fold purpose:
To provide and advocate for affordable and accessible housing to meet the varied housing needs of community members now and in the future.
To raise awareness and support of the larger community in respect of the particular housing needs and goals of our targeted groups – seniors, families and people living with disabilities.
Our philosophy is not simply to provide a physical space for people to live, but to create, within our facilities, diverse residential communities which include low and moderate income seniors, persons with disabilities, families, and singles. In doing so, we create healthy, safe neighbourhoods that foster positive interaction among our tenants and with the larger community.
