BOND is a Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program that promotes positive lifestyle choices for pregnant women in the Powell River area who have identified lifestyle risk factors.
BOND is a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL service to help you have a healthy baby

- Ongoing support during pregnancy and for 6 months after delivery
- Weekly group meetings including a healthy snack
- Information on pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care
- Referrals to other community programs and services
- Weekly food vouchers and vitamin supplements
- Individual nutritional counselling as required
- Emergency food shelf
- Cooking demonstrations and easy recipes to make at home

- Make healthy food choices within your budget
- Understand how cigarettes, alcohol and drugs affect your developing baby
- Set and achieve goals
- Prepare to breastfeed your baby
- Adjust to your new baby
