It is no surprise with the low cost, accessibility excitement and skill of soccer that it is one of the world's most popular sports. Congratulations on choosing soccer for your child where he or she will learn the value of working on a team, the relationship between hard work and improvement, and the health benefits of the activity.
Equipment needed.
• Players require cleats (boots). No metal cleats are acceptable.
• Shin pads
• Shorts.
• In the winter, gloves, a warm hat and layers are very useful to add to your soccer player's enjoyment.
Volunteers.
PRYSA is run entirely by volunteers. This includes all coaches, linesmen, referees and managers. Parents are expected to support coaches and managers and be supportive of our referees. Should you have any difficulties that cannot be solved by your division manager, please send an email to a member of the executive.
How To Be A Supportive Soccer Parent We feel that it is useful for all parents to read the Parent handbook. This gives tips on how you can support your child get the most enjoyment and improvement out of their soccer experience.
