The Powell River Council for Arts, Culture and Heritage, known simply as the Arts' Council, is a registered society in British Columbia with a mission to enhance the quality of life and creative vitality of the people who live in the Powell River region. By nurturing awareness of, involvement in and commitment to arts, culture and heritage,we are dedicated to promoting art and culture in the Powell River area, including Lund, Texada Island and Savary Island.
The purpose of the Arts Council is to increase and broaden the artistic and cultural opportunities for people living in the Powell River area. This includes developing programs, workshops and venues for individual artists to market their work and provide funding for events that come within the scope of the Arts' Council. The Arts Council plays a vital role in our community as the voice for all the arts.
