The Full Circle Farm Research and Development Project is a community initiative of the Society for the Advancement of Local Sustainable Agriculture (SALSA). Click here to learn more about SALSA and meet its board of directors.
The project is funded through the Employment Program of British Columbia.
The Full Circle Farm Research and Development Project began in January, 2015.
Here are a few of the things our project is doing: conducting surveys and interviews to determine demand for local food; talking with established community farms and food co-ops around the province to learn about possible organizational structures for Full Circle Farm; designing print and digital media to archive and share information.
Our team is a fun bunch, but we take our task seriously because the subject of the project is important. As we go, our work and research findings are shared with the SALSA board, and highlights are posted on our website.
