Kissing Fish Studio is the Brand name to all of Mischa's Art and Photography.
Mischa has been an artist all of her life and a photographer for over 12 years, she has a collection of Art cards, prints, original paintings & drawings at the her gallery.
Mischa Brooks-Thoma was born in West Vancouver B.C. and spent most of her childhood between there and Powell River. She achieved a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts at Emily Carr Institute in 2002; studying a multitude of techniques, from ceramics and drawing to photography and painting.
Mischa graduated from Capilano College with a Diploma in Textiles in 2004, having studied weaving, spinning, dying, and surface design. She is now using the knowledge gained, and her natural talent, to create unique works of art.
Mischa is a busy lady... creating all sorts of art, photography as well as natural soap and body products (Powell River Natural Soap Lady)...
Mischa is an active Graphic Designer, takes on commissions for all sorts of graphic work (business cards, rack cards, poster design, logo design and marketing ideas.. she also does hand painted sign projects for local companies. If you are interested please contact her for more information.
