Our History
Powell River Gymnastics Club was founded in 1988 as a private club owned and operated by Joyce Percey. As the club grew over the years, it was transferred to a group of parents who established a not-for-profit society. Powell River Gymnastics Society has operated in Powell River since 1999. Over the years, it has had various locations throughout Powell River. In 2005, PRGS secured a home in a facility which boasts a play area of 14,000 square feet complete with an in-ground trampoline and 400 square foot foam cube filled pit.
