a) Eligibility: Only persons residing within or performing services to the Powell River region (Saltery Bay to Lund, including Savary and Texada islands) are eligible for registration on this website.

b) Information: When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

c) Passwords: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

a) Eligible Listings: Only businesses located within 50 kilometres of the Powell River region (Saltery Bay to Lund, including Savary and Texada islands) are eligible for listing. Only residents of the Powell River region are eligible for listing in the "Community Groups" section (artists, artisans, musicians, performers).  Non-eligible listings will be removed without notice.

b) Open Listing Registration: To facilitate a comprehensive online listing resource, directory listings may be voluntarily added by any Powell River Community Member registered with an account with this website, regardless of whether or not they are affiliated with the subject of the listing.

c) Listing Claims: Listings may be claimed by clicking the "Claim Listing" button on any unclaimed listing. Users claiming ownership of a listing take immediate full control over the listing and assume responsibility for the information listed therein. Claiming ownership for malicious purposes may result in legal action taken by the listing's rightful owner(s).

d) Multiple Listings: There are no restrictions to the number of listings an individual may list or claim legitimate ownership of.

e) Ownership Disputes: In the event of a listing ownership dispute, ownership will be determined by verifying documentation issued by local, regional, or federal governing bodies.

f) Private Addresses: Some listing owners operate online-only businesses or home-based services serving the Powell River region where there is no public access (Private Addresses). An address is made private by entering "Powell River" in the Street Address field of the listing registration form, and is geolocated on our directory map in the vicinity of Powell River City Hall.

g) Categorization: Selecting non-relevant categories for the sake of increased exposure is not allowed. We reserve the right to remove listings from categories that do not relate to the regular activities of the business. Conversely, we may also add your listing to relevant or newly-created categories for the benefit of the listing.

h) Ratings and Reviews: Rating or Reviewing your own listing is not permitted. You will also not manipulate or cause any undue influence to affect the honest ratings and reviews of your listing. All ratings and reviews will be based on their own merit.

j) Listing Removal: Listings will be removed from the Directory if the business or entity ceases operations in Powell River, or at the request of the listing's rightful owner.

k) Listing Accuracy: We appreciate that many businesses are unable to update content in a timely manner. In the interest of providing the most accurate online directory possible, we may add or remove information to your listing that we find to be accurate/inaccurate with or without consultation. Listing owners are always free to make changes to their own content as they deem necessary (see item "c" above about listing claims).

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Core Media Group.

Core Media Group has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Core Media Group shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
