Vital Signs is a national program coordinated by Community Foundations of Canada. Powell River is one of more than 75 communities across Canada and around the world that uses Vital Signs to mobilize the power of community knowledge for greater local impact.
Powell River’s Vital Signs leverages local knowledge to measure the vitality of our community and support action towards improving our quality of life. Our Vital Signs report selects data from reliable local, provincial and national sources to measure our community using more than 40 indicators in 13 different topic areas. We also look at the results of our community survey to help the community understand how best to proceed to improve the quality of life in Powell River.
