The Board of The Powell River Community Radio Society (operating CJMP 90.1 FM: Powell River Community Radio) is composed of PRCRS members who are elected as directors each year at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) by members in good standing of PRCRS . Board members serve for at least 1 year, and may run for re-election at the AGM. The Board is responsible for station operations and to the CRTC and government bodies that permit us to run a non-profit community radio station; also the Board is tasked with maintaining standards and adhering to CJMP’s Mission, Vision, Purposes and Values statements found in our Resources section.

The Powell River Diversity Initiative creates, sponsors, and promotes diversity-related projects and programs that increase awareness of diversity, provide diversity education and foster an inclusive and safe community. A community steering committee guides PRDI. More info
