As a certified Family Mediator I assist two or more persons in resolving their dispute by clarifying, defining and exploring their issues of concern. I help develop goals for the mediation session that incorporate the needs of interests of all the parties. I do not judge, take sides or decide on solutions. The sessions are confidential, private and held in an informal, neutral setting. Mediation is non-adversarial. The process can build and strengthen relationships, redefine changed relationships and reinforce positive and respectful communication skills for the future. Mediation is very beneficial for : parenting after separation and divorce, blended family parenting, parent/teen conflict, couples issues, elder issues and community member disputes.
