About Our Campaign
When the doors open on our new Library (triple the size of the current space!) we want to see it packed with innovative, informative, up-to-date and entertaining things for all to enjoy. Our library will be the place to learn, connect and play, for all ages, the moment we open the doors.
The Friends of the Library has pledged to raise $100,000 to purchase 4,000 new items:
books, DVDs, CDs, electronic resources, talking books, ebooks, magazines and more. Think 3D printer, animation station and maker space technology. If you are excited about having these resources available in Powell River we are asking you to support us by donating to our Pump Up the Volumes! Campaign.
How to Donate
At the Friends of the Library Book Cart in the Library or at the Credit Union Friends of the Library account. Charitable receipts will be issued for gifts of $25 or more.
