Powell River Youth Resource Centre is a space for youth ages 13-18. Drop in space open to youth to connect, learn, and hang out. Programming is free or very low cost. Focused on creating a positve youth-friendly space where any young person in the community can have more opportunity and responsibility.
Recreation, cooking programs, wii system, pool table, ping pong, table hockey, Jam nights, movie nights, youth library, homework corner, cafe, computers, connection to community youth service workers, employment programs, volunteer opportunities, basketball, youth leadership programs, art programs, music programs.
General Information
Open to youth 13-18 years old! Come Check out the new YRC at Oceanview Education Centre at 7105 Nootka street (around back) With a Cafe-style atmosphere, comfy couches and bean bag chairs, its a great place to connect with friends. Air hockey, a Pool table, Games, Wii, Jam Nights, Movies on the big screen, food, Library, internet, funny-looking youth workers and special guests dropping in, there's always fun things to do! Open on Thursdays from 3:30-8 pm and Fridays from 3:30-9:30 when Collide Youth is in the house!! Come check it out!
