The Pearl supports published authors in Powell River, a book-crazy town, with book-bombings, publication of a newsletter and journal, and hosting of competitions and community activities related to...our beloved BOOKS!.
There are four kinds of membership.
AUTHOR members must be local (as that word may be interpreted on a case-by-case basis by the Review).
Anyone, anywhere, can become a BOOK LOVER.
Independent coaches, editors, agents, printers and the like may take out membership as a BOOK PROFESSIONAL and may be located anywhere.
BOOK FRIENDS are arts-supportive or arts-related groups with actual or potential connection to our published authors.
