We are a non-profit service club affiliated to the International Lions.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month 6PM at Snickers Restaurant.
Our club offers support to many aspects of of community living including Child & Youth . There are eight schools receive grants toward their food programs and we support the Orca bus ,Coats for Kids , Santa Parade and several other groups .
There are two bursaries awarded to brooks each year and assistance with first aid training for our Cadet forces.
There are five children's camps that benefit from the lions and under Social service programs we give grants to five food bank/Meal programs plus meals on wheels and Xmas hampers.
We also have a Medical and family emergency fund .
Our fund raising is limited as we have only 13 aging members but we probably raise about four or five thousand dollars each year and we receive a Direct Access grant from the Provisional Government . We enjoy some social activities together and while we can still keep going we shall do our best for our community.
