Doug Brown lives in the Wildwood area of Powell River, and helps a number of people all over the region who are learning (or still learning) to keep bees.
He has a great deal of knowledge about beekeeping and he's not keeping this info to himself! Always willing and able to show newbies (newbees?) how to get started, how to maintain a healthy hive, and how to extract honey at the right time.
He also gives tours of his hives, and sells his honey from his home on King Ave.
