Pine Tar has been used for centuries. It is found in a variety of products. Most notably, healing remedies due to its medicinal value. It has been used as a skin soothing and healing ingredient. It has been recognized for its anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, Pine Tar is known to help relieve skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, dry itchy skin, acne, hives and insect bites.
Pine tar soap has many other uses, it is able to remove tree sap, car grease, sticky and oily substances from the skin without leaving the skin feeling dry. It is also an excellent fabric cleaner for removing tough stains especially set oil stains.
